A Little Paradise

Petit Paradis is part of Foundation 488, a socio-cultural organization dedicated to a community living in the heart of The Hague. Right next to the café, a diverse group of people lives together as one big family. From this community, numerous compassionate projects are initiated. For instance, at least fifty percent of Petit Paradis’s revenue is donated to crisis shelters and the recovery of vulnerable girls in The Hague. Isn’t that wonderful?

Simply Sympathetic

The residents of the community play a central role in the activities of Foundation 488. They are actively involved in various projects and are guided by professionals from different fields. The underlying idea is that every person becomes happier and more stable when they can use their talents. Therefore, the residents are given the opportunity to learn a trade through vocational training programs, ranging from woodworking and metalworking to (green) maintenance and, of course, hospitality experience at Petit Paradis.

Petit Paradis is more than just a coffee and lunch spot. Of course, the menu features delicious homemade cakes and pastries, tasty breakfasts, fresh sandwiches, and healthy salads. But what makes it truly special is the underlying philosophy and activities of the foundation, along with the cozy spot on the Westeinde, turning it into a genuine hidden treasure.

Come by and enjoy this unique place on Monday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, or Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
