Atelier Sientje
As a child, Sientje already dreamed of opening her own clothing boutique. After graduating in Fashion Design from the Willem de Kooning Academy, she gained experience in dozens of places. And now, this creative soul is living her dream. Since its opening in 2024, Atelier Sientje has been her very own space where creativity flourishes.
Located in the vibrant Herenstraat in Voorburg (a street well worth the detour!), this boutique and sewing studio is a true gem. Not only does it showcase Sientje’s exclusive fashion collections, but it also provides a platform for various crafts. Other makers can present their work here as well—stained glass, ceramics, accessories, tapestries, poetry, graphic design… It’s an explosion of beautiful, handcrafted pieces.

But the real highlight is, of course, Sientje’s own collection—designed and crafted entirely by hand, from pattern to finished garment. Featuring beautiful, rich fabrics, playful details, and an effortlessly cool fit.
Sientje’s first collection was an ode to life in Scheveningen: sunny, summery, and inspired by the traditional folk attire. From bright pink suits with red fringes to coats made from twenty pairs of upcycled jeans—her designs burst with color, cheerful prints, and sustainable materials. We can’t wait to see what future collections will bring!

Get Creative Yourself
Sientje doesn’t like sitting still and loves sharing her creativity with others. That’s why she also offers workshops in her studio. Kids can get hands-on every Wednesday afternoon, while adults can unleash their creativity on Thursday evenings. From making floral crowns and sewing pouches to pottery and painting—discover new skills, push your creative boundaries, and take home a beautiful piece of your own making.
