A book for everyone!
In de Wolken has over five thousand titles in stock: toddler books, picture books, read-aloud collections, beginner readers, books for children and adults. There’s even a shelf for cookbooks. The books are neatly arranged in various (age) categories throughout the store. What’s great is that owner Inge and her team weekly highlight their favorites of the moment, complete with a short summary and reasons why the book is worth reading.
Small chance, but if you can’t find the book you’re looking for in the store, it can always be ordered for you. Now that’s service, right?
More than just a children’s bookstore
The team at In de Wolken is always happy to help you find the perfect book. Romana, Annemieke, Els, Michel, Sim, and Inge read a lot together and have years of experience in the book industry. And they love sharing their knowledge with all the children and (grand)parents who step into their bookstore.
Of course, not everyone loves reading equally. But even these kids can have a blast at In de Wolken. You’ll also find SmartGames here, creative braingames that help train memory and improve spatial awareness.
And how about fun events related to books, authors, and reading? In de Wolken is packed during events when children’s author Paul van Loon – to name just one – comes to sign his latest book.
