Thrive Coffee House
What a treasure this is! Rob recently opened Thrive in a lovely corner building in the Geuzenkwartier and is off to a flying start. He learned the art of coffee making at various spots around the city, including fellow The Hague treasure Roast Factory, and is now more than ready to run his own place.
Thriving
Thriving, to thrive. That’s exactly the idea behind this spot. A place where everyone can feel comfortable, at ease, and – you guessed it- thrive. Rob’s dream with Thrive is to create new connections, where people help each other and create together. This began from the start: the coffee bar was designed by a friend who is an architect, and a friend helps with the photography. At the back of the shop, a stage has been built where in the future there will be film and live music nights, workshops, and other creative happenings. Rob hopes to connect the neighborhood (and the rest of The Hague) through these activities, helping everyone thrive together.
Feeling Blue
Well, not at all, actually! Thrive is the complete opposite of down and dreary. We’re talking about all the amazing blue details around the shop: the blue front door, the logo sign above it, one of the many plant pots, and other creative touches throughout the space. Blue is Rob’s favorite color, and it’s incorporated all over this coffee haven. And, of course, the place is bursting with creative, surprising elements. You’ll just have to see for yourself!
