Fresh brew at JoeJoe

Stefan, whom we all know from Roast Factory, roasts his coffee beans in the roastery on the 6th floor of Haags Hoog. This year, he decided that everyone should be able to come and taste the unique coffee flavor of Roast, so he opened his own coffee bar next to the roastery: JoeJoe!

Coffee history

The location is definitely not to blame. JoeJoe is located in the building where Reuser and Smulders (the coffee, tea, and tobacco trade) was located from 1920, a household name in The Hague! The local residents are thrilled that there is once again a fresh coffee scent in the air!

Specialty coffee

No ordinary cups at JoeJoe. ‘Specialty Coffee’ is exceptional coffee of high quality. The coffee is produced, roasted, and consumed with care. Stefan travels the world in search of the perfect coffee bean, only to then work with it in his authentic coffee roaster. Such a cup naturally tastes even better with something sweet. They have it for you.

Preferably no to-go

For such a special coffee, you should sit down, Stefan believes. For that reason, you won’t find to-go cups at JoeJoe. Well, preferably not. At least not in a paper to-go cup. Are you really in a hurry? Then bring your own to-go cup or buy a reusable one on the spot. Then they will also make you a cup to-go with love. But of course, we recommend taking your time for that delicious coffee. Take a seat on the sunny terrace, wake up with breakfast, or open your laptop for some work. Will we see you there? JoeJoe!
