Glass display cases filled with colorful and delicious treats—salads, sandwiches, and the most delightful sweets. All vegan. All delicious. And honest.

De Sushimeisjes

Vegan sushi? Absolutely! At Sushimeisjes, the plant-based options are endless. Order a vegan sushi box, individual veggie rolls, or delicious side dishes. Lisa and Nicole, the cheerful ladies from The Hague behind Sushimeisjes, share a great passion for sushi—and you can taste it! In our opinion, it’s the best sushi in The Hague.

You can enjoy their sushi at two locations: Prins Hendrikstraat 96 & Valkenboskade 622. Both spots have a cozy interior and a nice terrace, perfect for enjoying your sushi outside if the weather allows.

Bistro LOFT

The reason why many residents of Vruchtenbuurt and beyond regularly go to church: Café Loft. This charming neighborhood restaurant, located in the old Jerusalem church, offers plenty of vegan options on the menu.

How about a vegan burger or pizza? With vegan cheese! Pad Thai with plant-based chicken. And vegan carrot cake for dessert. Our mouths are watering just thinking about it. Tommy’s en Zuurveen

The amazing 3, 4, or 5-course chef’s menu at Tommy’s and Zuurveen is also available in a vegetarian version. Enjoy it in the cozy, intimate restaurant or on the drinks boat moored outside on the canal.

Think of tomato tartare with miso or crispy broad beans with smoked almonds. Simply delicious!
