Thoughtful gifts of comfort

At Troostatelier, owner Roosmarijn designs sustainable, handmade products inspired by grief and loss. No mass production, but carefully and lovingly crafted items that offer comfort and make memories tangible. The atelier grew out of her own experience of loss: the need for something to hold on to, something to put on display, something that gives words to feelings that are difficult to express.

Quiet gestures of support

The products at Troostatelier are more than just gifts or decorations. They are designed as symbols of light, hope and remembrance. Little beacons of light in dark times and small things to hold on to. A candle, a card or another thoughtful gift can already bring a sense of comfort and support.
