When you talk about a truly The Hague beer, beers born out of love for brewing and beers that have nothing to complain about in terms of personal attention, then you’re talking about Eiber Beer. A hobby that got out of hand, starting in the owner’s own kitchen, but has now grown into a beautiful local beer brand and is indispensable at many local businesses.

Stubborn stork

And no, we’re not talking about owner Jasper, or his equally enthusiastic girlfriend Louise, we’re referring to the name. Because what many people don’t seem to know is that ‘Eiber’ is another word for Stork. Yes indeed, that bird in our Hague city coat of arms. Of course, Louise (responsible for the creative side of Eiber) and Jasper put their own spin on it. Resulting in a beautiful logo. And that logo now adorns the Hof Blond, De Baron, Zeer Hoppig Bier, and the newest addition Achter De Duinen.

Local collaboration

In addition, Eiber eagerly engages in collaborations with other local entrepreneurs. The Beer & Boat Tour they organize together with our other The Hague treasure The Hague Boat has become a household name. And Eiber & The Chocolate Shop make a great The Hague treasures duo too. Together, they offer cool beer and food tasting sessions. Of course, there can only be one true first love, and that’s Roast Factory. Together, they released the specialty beer Koffie Dick, which unfortunately is no longer available. The good news: Eiber regularly enters into such collaborations, so keep a close eye on them to make sure you don’t miss out!
