Jacqueline, the owner of Vita Hair, may be familiar to you from The Hague’s hairdressing scene. She built up years of experience and eventually took the leap to open her own salon. And we couldn’t be happier because this hair salon is a true The Hague treasure.
If you’re going to do it, do it right
You might not even know it, but behind the large gray doors on Nieuwe Schoolstraat lies a beautiful salon where every detail is just right. It’s like stepping into a Pinterest board, with cozy poufs, chic side tables, and the most beautiful coffee cups. With two hairdressing chairs, it’s a small but all the more cozy place. And it took some work! Because Jacqueline built everything from scratch here. She had her eye on the cozy building in the Buurtschap district of The Hague for years, and after a thorough renovation, Vita Hair opened its doors on November 1, 2023.
We make hairstories
The motto of Vita Hair is: ‘We make hairstories,’ and there’s no denying it. From the moment you step through the door, your experience begins, and Jacqueline considers the possibilities for your hair, provides any challenging options, and pays extra attention to the details that ensure the hairstyle that suits your face best. And when it comes to her own stories, you’re in the right place here too. Because at Vita Hair, there are no awkward barber conversations about the weather, but genuine conversation and personal attention.

Yes! Deze nieuwe schat komt precies op tijd om te starten met jouw nieuwe winterhobby! We stellen je graag voor aan @crossandwoods, een kleurrijk walhalla voor creatievelingen. 🧶🪡
Op het ietwat grijze Westeinde in Den Haag brengen Eloïse en Pauline, oprichters van Cross & Woods, een beetje kleur en warmte. Deze twee creatieve dames, met een enorme passie voor handwerk in allerlei vormen—breien, borduren, naaien en weven—bundelden hun krachten om een winkel te starten die creatievelingen samenbrengt.
In de winkel vind je een uitgebreid assortiment hoogwaardige materialen: wol, garen, patronen, stoffen en naalden. Perfect voor elk handwerkproject. Of je nu net begint of een doorgewinterde maker bent, Cross & Woods heeft alles om je volgende creatie te laten slagen!
En, Cross & Woods is meer dan een winkel: je kunt er ook terecht voor knutselavonden (craft nights) en tal van workshops. Elke eerste vrijdag van de maand vanaf 17 uur ben je welkom met je eigen knutselproject. Breng je project mee en ontmoet gelijkgestemden terwijl je samen je hobby (uit) oefent!
