On a roll: de Sushimeisjes

Two friends, one passion: sushi! Born and raised in The Hague, Lisa and Nicole started rolling sushi years ago. All from the simple idea that truly fresh sushi is simply the best.

We can say: the Sushimeisjes (Sushi Girls) are on a roll! With two restaurants (because the first restaurant in Prins Hendrikstraat was so successful, the girls can now also be found at Valkenboskade), a delivery, and catering service, the Sushimeisjes have become indispensable in The Hague.

Nowadays, they roll that delicious sushi with a few more people than just the two of them, but still, at the Sushimeisjes, you can enjoy the freshest sushi imaginable every day. You’ll understand: for us, no other sushi compares. Here’s a small selection from their delicious menu:

– Poke bowls
– Maki rolls
– Edamame beans
– Wakame salad
– Fried shrimp or cauliflower

And if you’re having trouble choosing? There’s, of course, a (vegan) menu, sushi mix for one or two people, and even a kids mix! Ideal!

Are you a big sushi fan? Or looking for something different than the traditional Dutch apple pie? Then the Sushimeisjes have the perfect cake for you: a real sushi cake! If that’s not an original birthday cake, we don’t know what is.

They also offer catering, events, and workshops. While enjoying a drink, they’ll teach you the basics of sushi making; from combining the right ingredients to rolling, cutting, and finally (happily) eating the sushi!
