A market inspired by the good French life, but in our own beautiful The Hague. Here you can stroll along the many (food) stalls with French chansons in the background and a glass of cider in your hand. Taste the many delicacies, admire the beautiful items, and discover true treasures. A (traveling) market that turns shopping into a true experience and introduces you to passionate local entrepreneurs.
Living the good life
Le Marie Marché embodies exactly what we envision with Haagse Schatten. You experience, taste, and feel The Hague (okay, and in this case a bit of France too) at its best. From March to December, you can find this delightful market every first weekend of the month along the Hofvijver (Lange Voorhout). Here, you can see and be seen, stroll leisurely, and make some great purchases. Shopping suddenly becomes a real party! Additionally, they regularly travel to other beautiful (Hague) locations.
A true treasure, but no gift card redemption
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to redeem your Haagse Schatten gift card at the market. This is because the businesses at this market often change, and not all of them are from The Hague. However, because we consider Le Marie Marché an absolute treasure of The Hague, we’ve made an exception to feature them. So, while they’re definitely a The Hague treasure, they’re not a redemption point for the gift card. Fortunately, there are plenty of other treasures in the city center where you can redeem your gift card!

Yes! Deze nieuwe schat komt precies op tijd om te starten met jouw nieuwe winterhobby! We stellen je graag voor aan @crossandwoods, een kleurrijk walhalla voor creatievelingen. 🧶🪡
Op het ietwat grijze Westeinde in Den Haag brengen Eloïse en Pauline, oprichters van Cross & Woods, een beetje kleur en warmte. Deze twee creatieve dames, met een enorme passie voor handwerk in allerlei vormen—breien, borduren, naaien en weven—bundelden hun krachten om een winkel te starten die creatievelingen samenbrengt.
In de winkel vind je een uitgebreid assortiment hoogwaardige materialen: wol, garen, patronen, stoffen en naalden. Perfect voor elk handwerkproject. Of je nu net begint of een doorgewinterde maker bent, Cross & Woods heeft alles om je volgende creatie te laten slagen!
En, Cross & Woods is meer dan een winkel: je kunt er ook terecht voor knutselavonden (craft nights) en tal van workshops. Elke eerste vrijdag van de maand vanaf 17 uur ben je welkom met je eigen knutselproject. Breng je project mee en ontmoet gelijkgestemden terwijl je samen je hobby (uit) oefent!
