This treasure always dresses in the coolest, trendiest pieces (and we only dared try them a year later… Leopard print? Chunky sneakers? ‘Mom’ jeans? Annelou was already rocking them before they hit the average shop window).
No surprise then that you’ll often find us in her charming little boutique in the Bomenbuurt. At The Puffin Effect, you’ll discover truly beautiful secondhand clothing of top quality, without any weird vintage smells and presented so beautifully it feels brand new. Suddenly, being sustainable is actually fun!

This is the place for stylish secondhand clothing from well-known brands like Sandro, Ganni, Acne Studios, Closed, Maje, MaxMara, Samsoe + Samsoe, Alix the Label, Stieglitz, Essentiel Antwerp, Baum & Pferdgarten, King Louie, and Sézane.

Bring your clothes, shoes, and accessories to The Puffin Effect! Book an appointment with Annelou and go through your wardrobe together. She’ll decide what can be accepted for resale. After that, you can track the status and balance of your items in a handy online tool: My Cirquly. You can either get your balance paid out in the store or, of course, use it to snap up new treasures from The Puffin Effect racks.
Note: From February to July, we accept spring and summer items. From September to January, it’s all about autumn and winter pieces.
