Tips for the best Mother’s Day

At our The Hague treasures you can once again enjoy lovely brunches, treats, and boat trips this coming weekend. All in honour of mothers! We highlight a few for you:

• At the Rechtstreex shop on Weimarstraat, it’s a true pampering paradise for tea lovers, home cooks, and chocolate fans. Their local and sustainable products are basically always a good gift idea.
• Our favourite breakfasts from De Bij Keuken will be freshly baked again this Mother’s Day by Aafke! Pick up a well-filled box or have it (extra special) delivered to your home in the morning.
• The Hague Boat is setting sail! Enjoy a boat trip through The Hague’s waters with a cup of coffee and something tasty during their Coffee Complete Cruise.
• Celebrate Mother’s Day on the beach at BLOW. They’ve planned a really fun day. In addition to a special brunch, you can stroll around the cosy Beach Markt, with a fine mix of handmade jewellery, ocean art, ethically sourced clothing, and surf ponchos.
• You can also settle down at The Hague’s beach treasure Mavi, with your toes in the sand. On 11 May they’re offering a Mother’s Day buffet from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., with oysters, mimosa à la Paris, scones, mini sandwiches, and lots of other goodies!
• At Beach Pavilion De Kwartel you can celebrate Mother’s Day the whole day. And they really hit the mark! With a breakfast platter including cake and bubbles, a lunch platter for two, or a snack board with a bottle of rosé and bitterballen.
• And at Suiderstrand your mum is put in the spotlight too. A spotlight with French vibes, to be precise. Because here you can join for a Grand Petit Déjeuner, with croissants, macarons, quiche and croque monsieur on the menu. Booking is smart!
