‘Snacking is the new dining,’ says Amber. Since November 2021, this lady has been running Proefboutique on Oude Molstraat with a warm and welcoming team. And we totally agree with her, especially with a snack menu like this. Once you’ve had drinks and bites here, you won’t want to go back to that ‘ordinary’ 3-course menu!
Tasting it all in the Oude Mol
Amber had dreamed for years of having her own place where everyone could come to taste delicious snacks. Simple, pure food, not too complicated, but different. When she started making snack boxes for home during the pandemic, she really got the hang of it. Having drinks with some good snacks is the most fun thing there is. And even more so when you get to let people try something new every time… When the little building in Oude Mol crossed her path in 2021, she knew for sure: this would be Proefboutique! A cozy, snug place where you can also enjoy the terrace. Because if there’s anywhere cozy to sit outside, it’s in Oude Mol!
Tasting, tasting, and more tasting
All dishes, snacks, and drinks here are conceived and made with love. No standard snacks on the menu, but unique and original recipes. We can already reveal, you can truly taste it! Our favorites are definitely the oven-baked camembert, roasted eggplant, and whipped feta with carrots. But we’d also gladly go out of our way for one of the (generously!) topped pitas. Having trouble choosing? Then let yourself be pleasantly surprised with the tasting platter full of changing dishes and bites.
Proefboutique is open every Thursday through Sunday for early drinkers and evening diners alike! And starting from June, they’ll also be open on Wednesdays again! It’s extra fun because Wednesday night is Gin & Tonic night. Gin & Tonics for โฌ8… We know where to go.

Wij houden ervan: van die ondernemers die niet stil kunnen zitten. En daar hebben we er weer twee van gevonden: Udo en Lisanne. Zij openden Eetwinkel Vork op de Fahrenheitstraat en brengen niet alleen heerlijk eten, maar ook een bak energie en enthousiasme mee.
Dit doorgewinterde horeca-stel loopt al een tijdje mee en hield jarenlang verschillende restaurants door het hele land draaiende. En omdat ze wel houden van lekker veel hooi op hun vork (snap je ;)) , besloten ze hun droom waar te maken en hun eigen eetwinkel te beginnen.
Het menu van Eetwinkel Vork wisselt wekelijks. Udo en Lisanne kiezen op de bank thuis zorgvuldig uit wat ze die week gaan bereiden. Udo, een ervaren chef, staat garant voor maaltijden van topkwaliteit. Lisanne zorgt dan weer voor de verrukkelijke zelfgebakken taarten. Het resultaat? Een vitrine vol heerlijke opties om mee te nemen, plus een klein zitje voor wie ter plekke wil genieten.
Achter in de eetwinkel vind je een grote en gezellige keuken waar chef Udo workshops geeft. Of je nu je kookvaardigheden wilt verbeteren of gewoon een leuke middag wilt beleven, er is voor ieder wat wils. Workshops vinden standaard eens per week plaats en zijn ook privรฉ te boeken. Perfect voor een verjaardagsfeestje, een teamuitje, of een andere speciale gelegenheid.
